A four daily sets of textures that is configured for use in the Installer textures from rdart78, but can be easily installed by simply replacing the files from folder 'FULLSET' in the folder 'Texture' simulator with advanced creation of its backup. Jan 06, 2015 I then looked at the install notes and it said to copy the effets in to the main fs2004 effects folder, so I obviously must have copied these fs2004 files in to my fsx effects folder. I don't remember if they overwrote anything, but now only native fsx planes will load and a couple that must use mostly native effects files.
Hey people, I've installed and uninstalled a lot of add-ons recently and to my horror, one or more has tampered with my effects folder. Now half my aircraft don't have any lighting effects and the smoke is 'blocky' I've never had this issue before, but when I tried to 'repair' the missing files Windows Installer quitted on me. I run Shockwave 3D Lights Redux, and am not sure if that is half the problem. Reinstalling FSX is out of the question, as that'd take forever and I'd have to spend countless hours reinstalling my add-ons. So, I hate to ask, but is it possible for someone to upload their 'working' FSX (Preferably Acceleration) effects folder to a media sharing website so I can download it and replace the missing files? Sorry for the trouble.

If you have a copy of your FSX installation (as everyone should to handle cases like this), you can get the necessary files there. If you don't, then a 'repair' install may be in order.' Copyright restrictions', which don't seem to apply to all of the 'recover' utilities found on Web sites like this one, which are used to 'repair' corrupt/missing files (.and let's keep in mind that this is a long-dead product.). I take this opportunity to thank all of the many people who have promptly (and ILLEGALLY) provided replacements for corrupt or missing files over the years, instead of giving copyright lectures.
