Which was the actual waste of time since it came out in all possible languages. Anyway, I can't find the image hack right now, but here is absolutely all the text in the game: Menu Text: Skit Text: Skit Sub Text: I also made a short video demonstrating reinsertion but it seems you have the bull tamed already Regards: ~Sky. The video does not contains that, but those things you mentions are pretty easy, I already did them right when the game was released: -My translations tools do repoint text, recreating each file with updated pointers, allowing to put text bigger than the original. -This game has a LBA protection: it uses a file that contains an LBA backup of the original ISO, so if you change the position or size of a file inside the ISO (for example, using UMDGEN), the game won't boot. I don't remember the name of this file (it was something like 'todfat' -> tales of destiny file allocation table.
Or something like that), but this protection is very easy to overcome either by: 1 - Updating the lba backup file each time the ISO is rebuilt 2 - Removing the LBA check by ASM-Hacking the Eboot I did all this, and the game worked alright, with my translation tets. The video I meant was this, no big deal it's just a demonstration, I explain nothing here: Still, this was all years ago, I saw the tales of saga had quite a big fanbase, so I hacked both this one, and ToD2 for PSP. Then I saw no one was interested in their translations and forgot about the saga altogether. To be honest I'm no longer interested in it, so I employ my time in the Final Fantasy saga instead:/ ~Sky.
